VT Zone is an antibacterial drug used to treat conditions such as lower respiratory tract infections, skin and skin structure infections, urinary tract infections, pelvic inflammatory disease, bacterial septicemia, bone and joint infections, and meningitis.
Ceftriaxone selectively and irreversibly inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to transpeptidases, also called transamidases, which are penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) that catalyze the cross-linking of the peptidoglycan polymers forming the bacterial cell wall.
Salbactum -:It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Sulbactam is in a class of medications called beta-lactamase inhibitors. Sulbactam is an irreversible inhibitor of β-lactamase; by binding and inhibiting β-lactamase produced by bacterial cells, sulbactam is thereby able to prevent it from reducing antibiotic activity.Therapy Area: Physician / Surgeons
